The Oak Ridge Lions will:
- Have an information booth at the Lavender Festival (from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.). We will need our own canopy. TBD if we need to bring table and chairs. Sign up below!
- Help pick up trash from around the festival venue & break down tents, tables, and chairs from the event. We may not be working until 8 pm, depending on the number of volunteers signed up and how quickly we move. We need AT LEAST 4 able-bodied volunteers to sign up to meet our commitment for a booth. Sign up directly with the Lavender Festival here and select the last option: “June 15 – Trash Clean Up & Festival Breakdown – 4 Hours”. You will need to create an account and sign a waiver. We can wear Lions Club shirts, but if you sign up by May 18th, you will be guaranteed a Lavender Festival t-shirt in their preferred size if you want one!
Below is the minimum number of volunteers needed for planning purposes. The more the merrier!
