    • Vision Screenings:  The Oak Ridge Lions Club provides vision screening for children in the Oak Ridge School system.
  • Education:  The Oak Ridge Lions Club began an annual Scholarship Program in the 1970s to fund scholarships for deserving graduates of Oak Ridge High School.  This scholarship program continues today, with four $500 scholarships being awarded each year.  The scholarships are supported by endowments from the late Lions Jim Howell and Bob Kernohan, as well as from funds raised by the Oak Ridge Lions Club.
  • Environment:  Since 2021, the Oak Ridge Lions Club has adopted the cleanup of Broadway Avenue.  This activity is performed at least every-other month to keep the street clean.
  • Hunger:  The Oak Ridge Lions Club has participated in an annual East Tennessee Lions project of packing food and distributing it within our community since 2020!  We have also sponsored a drive to help restock a local food pantry.
