Create a Disaster Preparedness To Go Kit
You never know when an emergency may happen—fire, flood, hurricane, tornado, or other unexpected events. These situations can occur at any time, and families may need to evacuate their homes on very short notice.
A Disaster Preparedness To Go Kit is a waterproof bag, backpack, or other container filled with essential supplies to help you and your family get through the first 48 hours of an emergency.
Keep your Emergency Preparedness To-Go Kit in a “grab and go” location—near the front door, in the garage, or in your car—so it can be taken immediately when seconds matter.

The Lions Club International Foundation generously awarded District 12N Lions an Emergency Preparedness Grant. This grant provided the financial support necessary for the production for an educational brochure and video. Also, it facilitated the acquisition of essential items needed for creating Emergency “To-Go Kits”. This initiative significantly enhances the preparedness of our community, ensuring we are ready to respond effectively in times of crisis.
