Oak Ridge Lions Club Scholarship Program

Each year the club presents $500.00 scholarships to deserving seniors graduating from Oak Ridge High School. This year the recipients were chosen from nearly 100 applicants. Two of the scholarships are supported by endowments, from the late Lion Jim Howell and the Late Lion Bob Kernohan. The others are provided from the funds raised by Lions in Oak Ridge.

The Oak Ridge Lions Club presented the 2011 Oak Ridge Lions Scholars at the June 13th Meeting at Ryan’s Steak House. 2011 ORHS graduates Aislin Kate Anderson, Destiny McAdams, Amanda Jenkins, Delaney Ruth Menefee were this year’s Oak Ridge Lions ¬†Scholars.
